There’s a certain point in traveling where you stop looking for places to eat—
and start looking for places that feel right.
Madrid, with its endless food scene, offers no shortage of brunch options. Yet every now and then, you come across a place that stands apart—not because it tries too hard, but because it understands something many others don’t: consistency, energy, and intention.
That’s exactly what I found at Billy Brunch.
More Than a Brunch Spot
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt different.
There was no forced aesthetic, no exaggerated concept—just a space that worked.
The energy was immediate, and it didn’t take long to understand why. Billy, the owner ( With a strong Fine Dining background) is present, engaged, and naturally connected to both his team and his guests. That kind of leadership doesn’t just influence service—it defines the entire experience.
In hospitality, you can feel when something is built with intention.
This is one of those places.
The Food: Classic, But Done Right

At its core, brunch is about familiarity—but execution is everything.
I went for a selection of classics: eggs Benedict served on properly made sourdough, a rustic club sandwich layered with balance and texture, and pancakes with maple syrup and fresh fruit—generous in portion, but never excessive for the sake of it.
And then there was the Bloody Mary—refined, well-calibrated, and easily one of the most memorable I’ve had in Madrid.
Nothing felt overdesigned.
Nothing needed to be.
The Details That Define the Experience
What often separates a good restaurant from a memorable one is not the food—it’s everything around it.
Here, the details were clear:
cleanliness, organization, and a service style that feels genuinely welcoming without being intrusive.
It was around 12:30 PM—a time when many places begin to feel chaotic. Instead, the room held a natural rhythm. Families, couples, and small groups coexisted effortlessly. Even with a dedicated children’s area, the space maintained a sense of balance and understated style.
That’s not easy to achieve.

A Place You Return To
There are restaurants you visit once, and others you return to without overthinking it.
This is the second kind.
What Billy Brunch offers isn’t just a meal—it’s a feeling of ease. A place where you can sit, enjoy, and disconnect without friction.
In a city as dynamic as Madrid, finding that kind of consistency is rare.
And that’s exactly what makes it worth knowing.
Locations & Opening Hours
In Madrid, Billy Brunch is thoughtfully positioned in two vibrant neighborhoods: C/ Fuencarral, 82 (28004) and C/ de Toledo, 82 (28005), making it easily accessible whether you’re exploring the city center or moving through its more local districts.
The concept remains consistent across both locations—open 365 days a year, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM—offering a reliable rhythm for those who appreciate structure without sacrificing quality.
Beyond Madrid, Billy Brunch has also expanded its presence to Barcelona and Seville, bringing the same atmosphere, attention to detail, and approachable hospitality to some of Spain’s most dynamic cities.
